Conference venues

The University of Manchester is the largest and most diverse conference location in the North West, with the majority of venues stretching from the city centre to the leafy outskirts of Fallowfield.

Main venue

The conference will be held at the Renold Building situated on the North Campus in the heart of the city. The superbly equipped theatres open onto the 900 m2 exhibition space and refreshment. The main conference floors all benefit from Wi-Fi access.

Its prime city centre location also means it is only 250 metres from Piccadilly station and within walking distance of several hotels.

Conference reception

The Manchester Museum is located at the University of Manchester campus on Oxford Road, M13 9PL and a 15 minutes walk from the Renold Building. The Museum is across the road from University Place and the Williamson Building.

The map also shows a few recommended bars, restaurants, and cafes but there are of course plenty more that we couldn’t fit on here. Recommended walking route between venues is down Oxford Road, and across either Charles St, or Whitworth Street.
